The current membership list illustrates the strength of the group.  Each of these companies brings its own area of expertise, so that together the Group represents a powerful forum for dealing with some of the technical, environmental, and legislative challenges facing the tinplate packaging industry.

How to become a member
The membership fee for canmakers, fillers, lacquer producers and all but the largest tinplate producers (>1 million tonnes pa.) is £1,050 GBP per annum. 

Participation in collaborative Tinplate Group research projects, such as the alternative passivation treatments for tinplate project, is on the basis of an additional per-project fee.
