Members of the Tinplate Group come from all parts of the world and from all segments of the industry supply chain.  This includes tinplate producers, electrolyte suppliers, can makers, lacquer suppliers and can fillers. The current membership list illustrates the strength of the group.  Each of these companies brings its own area of expertise, so that together the Group represents a powerful forum for dealing with some of the technical, environmental, and legislative challenges facing the tinplate packaging industry.

How to become a member
The membership fee for canmakers, fillers, lacquer producers and all but the largest tinplate producers (>1 million tonnes pa.) is £1,000 GBP (~ $2,000 USD) per annum, currently invoiced pro-rata to December 2008. 

Participation in collaborative Tinplate Group research projects, such as the Cr-free project, is on the basis of an additional per-project fee.
