The latest version of the European standard EN10202:2022, ‘Cold reduced tinmill products – Electrolytic tinplate and electrolytic chromium/chromium oxide coated steel’ has now been published across Europe, replacing the earlier 2001 version.
The new version now includes the specifications for Chromium Free Passivation Alternative (CFPA), the specifications for trivalent chromium process (ECCS-RC) and an updated method in how tensile testing properties are measured.
